A friend is selling a 2003 Garrison acoustic G40 that I am thinking of buying. Any Idea of the value of this guitar. I know that they were made in Newfoudland Canada and that Gibson has recently bought the company. Your thoughts ?

Boy, from what I can tell, pretty nice guitars. They evidently created a new bracing system that was intriguing and brand new facility that was intriguing enough for Gibson to buy them out and start make a new line of Gibson guitars. I've never seen or played one, but the specs seem solid. I've seen pricing on the internet anywhere from $500 to $1000 for this model. I came across these links that might be of interest. Good luck.
