Fadi,
I heard a John Schaefer interview with Dave Carroll on 'Soundcheck' broadcasted by NPR affiliate WNYC a few months back. He's the creative genius behind 'United Breaks Guitars.' You can listen to it here:
http://www.wnyc.org/shows/soundcheck/ep ... nts/147457
After listening to the interview I've decided I'll never risk air travel with my guitar.
Safe travels,
Tom

Well thanks for everyone's feedback on this post.

I looked in to all the suggestions specially the shipping one but it turned out that it will cost me more than the cost of the guitar taking into consideration the shipping costs and customs duty at the destination.

So I decided to risk it and I checked it in. I bought a good hard case for it and wrapped it all up and I was lucky I guess, and received the guitar in perfect condition.

Thanks again everyone,

Fadi

Hi Fadi,

Glad to hear this worked out for you. I'm sure we all look forward to hearing you play the new guitar.

Stuart
