Great clip Daryl! I think Huw Weldon was the presenter on that clip and OMG what a patronising attitude 1950's BBC had towards teenagers. Did I see him patting the band on the head or just their backs! In the Pink Floyd clip that was posted last week, the presenter basically told the band off for playing so laud and went on about how it wasn't his cup of tea as he was brought up on the classical flute or something! Priceless document of the prevailing "establishment" view of the day.

I'm still wondering what the heck 'Skiffle' is.

I totally agree. The clip is fascinating but the interviewing style is quite painfull to watch.

Skiffle is what Brits call rockabilly.
