Hi Stuart thats great news look forward to hearing how it sounds. The tailpiece on the Riviera is unique its called a Frequensator, the idea was to help with intonation. The Riviera came out to be the budget option to the Gibson, but at the time it outsold all semis, it never got the acclaim warranted however because at the time the Beatles used the even cheaper Epi version 'Casino' and cheap as the Casino was and not with the same high specs it outsold the Riviera , Casinos also command higher resale nowadays which collectors find difficult to comprehend as the Riviera is way higher specs and the first one actually mostly handbuilt by Luthiers as a custom guitar. Maybe we could get a guitar duel going ...

Absolutely!

I've been using mine with the band a lot lately. There's a ton of tone generation in those big empty spaces.
