okay, ive agreed to comprimise, Tabitha (my wife) said i can get a nice beater or cheap electric with a small amp for the rest of the year, and then my budget cap significantly rises to $1000, and i can buy a better one with part of our income tax refund.....good ole uncle sam to the rescue!!! ;) So hopefully ill find something useful and a little high-end when that time comes!!! so now for the best beater for my buck search!!! haha

Hi,

I would recommend any Seagull guitar. I bought the Seagull S6 Original a few weeks ago and it is great, beautiful sound. The S6 from Guitar Center cost me $380 and I am very happy with it.

I looked around a lot before I bought it and I even tried the Seagull Entourage mini jumbo but I found the S6 to have a fuller sound.

Seagull has other models, solid wood models that are a little more expensive but still very affordable.
