Chas - Thanks mate. Nice to be able to do a real Australian number in our own accent

MJ - Cheers. The original should be on YouTube...worth a look. You might not think mine is so good after watching it though!

Coomba mate if the kangaroo at the bar thinks it's OK, then that's OK by me.

I was captivated by that performance. So sad, the whole concept of war, and that song captures it well. Nicely done, Tony.

Nicely done Tony. Most of us were 19 just kids, in the Army during that sad tragic Vietnam era. Lost some good friends there, thank you for remembering.

Bill - mate haven't seen much of you lately. It's good to see those clapping hands again. Thanks.

Jay - thanks that's very kind. You're right of course, war is an ugly thing. Unfortunately your Nation and mine are destined for a whole new generation of young men and women who are affected by it.

Kenny - thank you very much. The song is by a writer who recounted the stories told to him by veterans. As a veteran yourself I'm very humbled that you have seen it as the tribute I intended it to be. We should never forget.

Thank you for posting and sharing that song with us, Tony. I still have the song in my head as I type-- haunting, as others have said.
