Yep that's right. Selling them all.

So I can afford this:

I broke the bank this week to put down a sizable deposit. Still a bit short! I was going to buy an 814, but when I saw and played this my head started spinning, I started sweating and before I could start acting sensibly again I bought it. So I will have to give up 3 guitars to afford this one and I have a bit of fund-raising to do, but it's the most beautiful thing I have ever held that wasn't breathing.

Thanks. Koa is the nicest wood I've ever seen.

Congrats Tony! You had mentioned this in a pm to me, but I hadn't seen the pics. Gorgeous!
But you're selling the Yamaha SLG too?? Thought that was ideal for your practicing?

Tony, I know that $4k (USD) is a LOT of money to spend, but I think this will be a very good investment for you. I think this one will hold its value very well. Congratulations my friend.

Perhaps once you get the new beauty you can go busking and replenish the coffers!

Congrats Tony! That is a beautiful guitar. I had looked at those when trying to decide. I opted for the bit brighter top end than that model gives, but the mids are unparalleled with the Koa wood (even more so than that of my mahogany Martin). I played a right handed model at a store down in Hollywood. It felt so wonderful, and the woods are exquisite. No doubt you will be happy with your purchase. Can't wait to see it in action!

Too bad you can't keep all of them...... :)

Cheers!

Agreed- such a beautiful guitar. Koa is lovely wood and I've heard it sounds great. I can't wait to hear what you think of this one, Tony!
