I'm NOT selling all of my guitars - I've sold them and picked up this!

You mean some of you have actually experienced stores where salespeople come and sit with you while you play the guitars? I've never experienced that, and I can tell you I probably wouldn't like it.
Yeah Dennis in one store in Adelaide (Billy Hyde for anyone who might wander in there) the guy came and sat right in front of me and watched me like a hawk while I played a Martin D28. Very off-putting. No way am I making any decision on a guitar under those circumstances.

Tony,
That's a very beautiful guitar and I'm sure it sounds as good as it looks. Enjoy it mate!

Tony, I know exactly how that warm fuzzy feeling of a new Taylor goes. The GA body is awesome and the Koa wood is mind numbingly brilliant. I love my 414 TLD with Blackwood, which is in the Koa family. Being from down under you already know that.
I know you'll have a long happy relationship with your new guitar. Congrats and happy playing.

That has to be one of the most gorgeous guitars I've ever laid eyes on. I can't wait to hear you playing it. Cindy must be one special and understanding woman too. You're a lucky man.

Thanks Tom, Dog, Steve and all others who commented also.

Shel a gorgeous guitar and a gorgeous woman is a pretty good combination which you understand very well, and I am indeed a lucky man.

That is a really sweet guitar, wish you many many years of enjoyment.

I've recently been thinking along the same lines myself, own 6 guitars, really only need 2 great ones, or 3 good ones.

The latest aquisition is a full sized archtop, Emperor Regent, which plays very well acoustically. All the electronics float, rather than being bolted.

So now you've given me more to chew on.
