>> New Poll - What is your favourite "volume" maker of acoustic guitars ??..Vote here..
Voted Martin and have a 000-28EC. Also have a Gibson 335, which is lovely, but that's electric, of course. I quite like Takamine guitars and have played several that I found much nicer than either Martins or Taylors in the same price range. Would like to play a Seagull sometime, but haven't yet had the chance. But if I were looking for a new guitar, it probably wouldn't be from this list.
I voted Taylor because I own two of them, a 110 and a 414ceLTD. But to be completely honest I would have voted for what ever I had been playing most recently. I still have a 72 Martin 000-18 that I love. I just haven't played it for a while. I need to fix that.

Some things just are what they are... And with that in mind, I had to vote Martin.
I have to admit that I'm also quite fond of the Gibson J-45 Rosewood.
On the other hand, and in spite of the fact that they seem to be very popular here at TG, I've never met a Taylor that I really liked.
