My first choice is Martin,D28 for strumming, 00028 for pickin'. Also prefer Taylor for pickin' but not heavy strumming. I must go and look to see if there is a handbuild version of this thread. If not, anyone interested in participating.....especially the member with the Ryan Nightingale soloist with Brazilian B&S.

I voted Yamaha. My $300 FG 350 is the only guitar I have ever owned. "..an old guitar is all he can afford.." I do look longingly at the Taylors every time I go into our guitar store.

I would consider Breedlove a "volume" maker, no?
Anyway, I like Breedlove guitars, I have an AD-200SM. Beautiful and amazing sound for the price point, roughly $500 at the time.
Really well made guitars.

When I open this thread, I see only the voting options, but nerver a graph representing the results.
Am I doing something wrong?

I voted for Takamine as, like Chas, I have two of them and BSG wasn't on the list.
