A quick survey- Which major category of blues do you prefer? For the simple purpose here I am breaking it into only 2 categories- electric (usually played with a pick and a band), and acoustic (usually fingerstyle and solo).

Had you included Electric Texas style I would have gone that way but as it stands it has to be Delta acoustic.

I guess I would consider that a genre of Chicago, seeings as how they are so close together. Remember, Robert Johnson sang about "That land of California, Sweet Home, Chicago."

I favor the Delta Style Blues, especially the way Keb' Mo' plays guitar, and I am currently practicing your TG lesson on "Billie's Blues".

I am also a BIG Keb' Mo' fan. Love that Delta Blues sound.

Oke two skills,but its a acoustic site(for me it is), i vote for the delta blues(i think i heard it and its great),,but there are so much styles,,the last time i listen the bleus it was a Robert Johnson style played acoustic by a fellor in Italy,,,i add him on my YT channel,,so nice..but to master it my self??? i must start at some basics,,man i feel so blue!!!

I wouldn't mind seeing something from Mississippi John Hurt. Maybe "Frankie and Johnny".
