Following Mark's example in his startup post for this thread, may I suggest that it's interesting to include an important detail, such as the theme of the show (usually to support an album), or maybe if it was in a well-known venue. Knowing this info can maybe help us imagine the feel of the show.

Here's my shot at recalling what I can of shows by internationally known bands:

Jethro Tull - Passion Play Tour
Genesis - Lamb Lies Down Tour (last album with Peter Gabriel fronting)
David Bowie - Diamond Dogs Tour
Strawbs - Hero and Heroin Tour
Donovan - Intimate show at Montreal's Queen Elizabeth Hotel Ballroom (The hotel where "Give Peace a Chance" was recorded)
Manfred Mann - The Good Earth Tour
Mahogany Rush - Double bill with Manfred Mann
ELP - 4 times, twice in 20,000 seat Montreal Forum, twice in Montreal's 80,000 seat Olympic Stadium.
Pink Floyd - Animals Tour (Olympic Stadium)
Alice Cooper - twice: Billion Dollar Babies Tour, Muscle of Love Tour
Elvis Costello - My Aim is True Tour
ZZ Top - Before the beards and videos
Frank Zappa
Jean-Luc Ponty
AeroSmith
Steve Miller Band (outdoor festival)
Brian Adams (outdoor festival)
Extreme (outdoor festival)
Elton John and Billy Joel (touring together last year)

The Who - an intimate gathering of about 80,000 at the newly-opened Pontiac Silverdome. A few weeks later, at their concert in Cincinnati, some audience members were crushed to death by the surging crowd.
Jethro Tull - twice in the 70's, once in 2004
Grateful Dead - Cobo Hall in Detroit, mid 70's, seems to me they played for about 3 hours
Rolling Stones - 2005 (i think), Comerica Park in Detroit, easily the largest and most elaborate stage setup I've seen
Bob Dylan - twice, most recently at the Toledo Zoo Ampitheatre a few years ago, his voice was pretty much gone
CSN - once at Pine Knob Ampitheatre near Detroit, once at the U. of Toledo
Crosby and Nash - Pine Knob Ampitheatre
Jackson Browne - once at Blossom Music Center ampitheater near Cleveland, once at Bowling Green, OH
Eric Clapton - a few years ago at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Mi., probably the best concert I've ever attended. Robert Cray Band opened.
Iron Butterfly - my first concert experience, at the old U. of Toledo Field House - I was in 7th grade, and smelled some strange new aromas for the first time that night
Chicago - also at the U. of Toledo, about 1970 - opening act was the James Gang
Little Feat - at the Ark in Ann Arbor, Mi. a few years ago, a very intimate setting that was almost too small for their sound
Barenaked Ladies - took the entire family to this one, had 3rd row seats - very good live band
Bruce Springsteen - at the since-demolished Toledo Sports Arena, still remember the opening notes of "Thunder Road" coming through the darkness
John Mayall
Yes - had to have been 100 degrees in the Toledo Sports Arena that night
Robin Trower - once in Toledo, once in Detroit
Queen - Toledo Sports Arena, I remember being blown away by Brian May's guitar work
Ted Nugent, 2 or 3 times, most recently at the local Rib-Off a couple of years ago
Dave Matthews Band - Polaris Ampitheater near Columbus, 2002, great show, opened by Doyle Bramhall
Jefferson Starship - once at Pine Knob in the 70's, once at a trade show in Toronto in 1998 - kind of a depressing setting for a once-great band
The Allman Brothers -a few years ago with the more recent lineup, with Warren Haynes & Derek Trucks - awesome.
Dickie Betts
Jean-Luc Ponty
Carlos Santana & Wayne Shorter
Tab Benoit - Callahan's in Detroit a year or so ago, my favorite blues guitarist
Etta James - Chicago Blues Festival, mid 80's
Peter Frampton - at the height of the "Frampton Comes Alive" wave
Moody Blues
Wynton Marsalis
Sonny Landreth
Enter The Haggis
Jimmy Thackery
Edgar Winter
George Benson
Zappa Plays Zappa - Dweezil performing his late father's music, with several former Mothers of Invention members - very good show
Dave Mason
B.B. King
Mike Stern - very accomplished jazz guitarist, nice little outdoor show on the riverfront here in Toledo a few years back
Lionel Hampton
Earth, Wind and Fire - with my wife at Ceasar's Palace in Vegas, about 2000
Blue Oyster Cult
Buddy Guy
Aerosmith
Hubert Sumlin
The Commodores or Lionel Richie, can't remember which, early 80's, have to invoke the wife excuse on this one
Foghat
Rush
The Beach Boys
Bachman-Turner Overdrive
Kansas - before they hit the big time

There are some outstanding lists going on here. By reading these my memory is getting jogged a bit and I have to go and update my list. What is wrong with me? How can I have forgotten about U2 and Springsteen.

Woodstock?!?!?!?!? Holy crap.......................
