Tony's thread got me thinking and I figured I'd start a different thread here. I'm going to try and list all the concerts I've been to over the years. I'm sure I'll miss some but here it goes.

What shows have you been to see.

I'm 41 now so that will give you a basis on what time frame I'll be working with. These are in no specific order as I'll just type them down as my feeble brain can remember them.

AC/DC - Twice. For Those about to Rock and Who Made Who tours
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - 2 1/2 times. (barely remember one of the shows but had a great time)
Deep Purple with Joan Jett opening - Perfect Strangers Tour (1985 I think)
Monsters of Rock in 1987 - Scorpions, Kingdom Come, Dokken and I think Van Halen
Van Halen - OU812 tour
Dire Straits - some time in the early 90's.
Paul McCartney - 3 times. First time in the Flowers in the Dirt tour (1990ish)
Neil Young and Crazy Horse - 1993
CSNY - twice
CSN - at least 5 times
The Monkees - No Michael Nesmith though
Chickfoot - last year
Jimmy Buffett - 1994 through 2004 (he always used to play in MA on Labor Day weekend)
Peter Wolf (JGiles) and the House Party 5 - mid 90's
Rolling Stones - Around 2002
Elvis Costello - 1992ish
Fleetwood Mac - Twice. Once in that comeback tour in the mid 90s and again last year.
Boston - About a year before Brad Delp died
Beatlejuice - Brad Delps Beatles cover band. Listing it here just because it was great
Journey - twice. Early 90's I think and then a couple of years ago with the new singer
Eric Clapton - around 2004. Religious experience...
Steve Winwood - 2008 with the Tom Petty tour
Bon Jovi - Yup... Saw them in the late 80's with my girlfriend at the time
Whitesnake - late 80's
The Police - That last tour that they did a few years ago. Great show.
Livingston Taylor (JT's brother) - early 90's
The Eagles - In Hawaii for sales conference. 1996 I think
John Melloncamp - Vegas Sales conference MGM 2002ish
Santana - Vegas Sales conference last year
Huey Lewis and the News - Sales conference 2009
U2 - 2007
Elton John - Mid 90's with my wife.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band - Twice. 1999 "comeback" tour in the Meadowlands in NJ. 6th row. He played for 4 hours!! Outstanding. Saw him again around 2003 at Gillette stadium in MA and he wasn't nearly as good. That night in NJ was magical.

Well I can't think of anymore. Had too many cobb webs to run through in my memory.

My memory left me long ago (mostly because of some of these concerts), so I don't know the years, but:

Mountain Air (mid 80's) - Journey, REO Speedwagon, Night Ranger and ZZ Top
Day on the Green (late 80's) - Motley Crue, Whitesnake, Poison and Cinderella
Tom Petty - Santa Barbara Bowl (three times)
Go-Go's (my wife made me take her) with Berlin at the Santa Barbara Bowl
Metallica - Selland Arena in Fresno
Garth Brooks - Selland Arena in Fresno
Styx - Ventura County Fair
REO Speedwagon - Ventura County Fair
Sublime - Ventura County Fair
Triumph - mid 80's somewhere in the San Francisco area (it's a little fuzzy)
Tesla - Selland Arena
Tesla - Shorline Ampitheater - Bay area of California
Y&T - The Club in Turlock, CA (about three or four times)
ELO - Stone Mountain near Atlanta, GA with a KILLER laser light show
Jackson Browne - Ojai in 2007
Toad and the Wet Sprocket - Alex's Cantina in Santa Barbara, CA
Dokken - The Bar - in Santa Barbara roughly 1998 or so

I have probably missed a few...... B) B)

Another killer idea for a thread, that's one impressive list Mark. It pains me that I missed the opportunity to see Clapton in something like his prime, same with the Stones. My list is eclectic and more reflects the (not so long) list of girlfriends I have had. After all, what they like, I liked...at least for a time. OK, let the embarrassment begin kicking it all off around 1979. I think it's far from a complete list:

Meatloaf
Hot Chocolate about 1981 (Heaven's in the backseat of my Cadilac)
The Hollies
Charlie Pride! (The girlfriend excuse)
ACDC (When the original lead singer Bon Scott fronted them). The Pub venue they played regularly as up and comers is 5 minutes from my home.
Mental as Anything
Hunters and Collectors
INXS
Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons
Australian Crawl
Midnight Oil
Cold Chisel
The Dead Kennedys
The Celibate Rifles
Roy Orbison (For my Mum but probably the most beautiful voice I have heard..just awesome)
David Gray
Pink! (The wife excuse this time)
Diesel (Australian guitarist)
Tommy E (A slightly better known Australian Guitarist)
Cat Stevens just recently. Great.

Nearly all of my concert going was between 1967 and 1984. But during that time: Emerson, Lake, and Palmer
Joni Mitchell
Crosby, Stills, and Nash
Steven Stills
Crosby and Nash
Jimmy Buffett
The Temptations and The Supremes
The Allman Brothers (one month after Duane's death)
Leo Kottke
Willy Nelson
Jerry Jeff Walker
Herbie Mann
Led Zepplin
Spyro Gyra
Ray Charles
Stevie Wonder
Al Jarreau and David Sanborn
Bob Dylan
Jessie Cook (four months ago)....scary good jazz guitarist
Jimmy Buffett (free concert on beaches of Gulf Shores, AL

I know I must be getting old as I'm having a hard time remembering.
