I'm assuming you uploaded the video to your own channel. Firstly, sign in to your channel (your account). At the top right of the screen you'll see your account name. If you click on that, you'll get a bunch of options (My Channel, Inbox, et). Click on My Videos. Next to the video you uploaded, there should be a small button that says "Edit." Click on that. Scroll down a bit and there is a section entitled "Broadcasting and Sharing Options." There you have your different privacy settings. You'll need to set yours to "Public" to make it so that others can see it.

Hope that helps.

One sticky point was the possibility of stealing someone else's thunder (or 15 minutes of fame) with a duplicate busking upload. My answer to that is to just let a bit of time pass between yours and someone else's duplicate upload in a busking thread.
I agree that it's good manners to allow someone to soak in the love before posting the same song. What I don't understand is why this should apply only to a busking thread. I would apply the same courtesy to someone posting a video in the student review channel.

Dermot,,you must be very glad you got the YT thing right now,,now you have to learn uploading to the student channel and hope for a review from Neil,,but i'm really sure you get now some real good comments and suggestion needed for your playing and strumming,,i can only say on this moment that the strumming must come more out your wrist and try to hit softer,,,goodluck and you can really be glad and proud you did this..

Well done, Dermot! I'm glad my instructions were not too confusing.

I'm glad you posted this. I think the first video is always the hardest to post. Along with Willem's advice, I'd also suggest trying to vary the intensity of your strum throughout the song- make some of your strokes harder and some softer.

Dermot-

I think people often underestimate how hard it is to strum well. You should listen to my first upload (Who'll Stop the Rain) and see how bad my strumming was. On second thought- don't listen to it!!

it's awesome that you posted your video. I'm proud of you!

Good job Dermot. Its great that you were able to post this today. The first one is always the hardest. As you know with practice and patience you will see improvement. Now you have to keep them coming :) :) .
