My wonderful wife just let purchase a new guitar !!!!!! It is a Martin performing artist series acoustic. Solid Brazillian Rosewood back and sides, Solid Sitka Spruce Top and the new Fishman Aura 1 pick up system. Just got home with it so you wont hear from me for a few days but I will post a video as soon as I get used to this new beautiful thing. She says this is my 16 year anniversary gift from her (I better go shopping before playing it)

mark,

A big congrats!! As a very happy owner of a Martin, I must say that you're in for a treat. Did you end up buying it at Madison Music or elsewhere?

A huge congratulations Mark!!!! I wasn't aware that that series had a brazillian option. It's an investment for sure now. Can't wait to see/hear you play it. Boy I'm starting to get a GAS attack now. Two new guitars for TG'ers this week............

Mark- you are one fortunate dude! You obvioously married smarter than I did because my wife wants to use my "pieces of wood" to start a fire!!!!

That sounds like an amazing instrument. Will you post some pictures of it IF you ever put it down? lol! Could be awhile!

Congrats on your new ax! I hope it gives you never-ending joy. Make sure to take all the bad sounds out of it before you get too serious!

cheers! :cheer:
