Perhaps, as guitarists and as music lovers, we shouldn't let today pass without paying tribute to Jim Marshall, who has passed away aged 88.

Wow! Talk about a guy who made a HUGE impact on rock music. He should be right up there with Les Paul and Leo Fender. Without Marshall, their work wouldn't have amounted to much. Marshall is the power behind rock 'n roll music.

RIP Jim!!
