That’s great news Rick. I hope your full recovery is a speedy one. I’ve had to put down the guitar (and the forums for that matter) due to family issues and I’m just now getting back into the swing of things. Boy do I hear you when you say you didn’t “realize how therapeutic or addictive playing the guitar has become.” You truly don’t know how important something can be to you until it is gone, even for a little while. I’m happy to hear you’re on the mend and back enjoying the guitar and the music in your life.

That is great news Rick! I am very glad to hear that it went well, and that you are going at it again! I hope that the surgery did not affect your BBQ skills..... ;)

I have not had any surgeries, or anything like that, but I have had to give up my regular routine over the last few days, as I have been busty with family stuff. I can tell you, that it is very tough to go even one night without playing, and I am anxious to get back to it. I am a proud guitar addict, and already miss the calming effect it has on my day to day life. I am glad that you have it back now and I know that the C and F chords will follow up shortly.

Be well my friend!

Jason

Rick,
Very happy to hear that your big 'ol paw is on the mend! Not too often that you hear, barre chords are esay and open chords difficult!

Rick, from observation of related injuries among your furry cohorts, lickin' your paw seems to be an important part of the remedy.
Do that patiently, and then you will reap what you have sown ... that there paw will really get back to lickin' !
