I've edited my initial post so many times I've re-posted here:

I am looking at The Beatles - I Want You

Video Location:12:28mins to 12:32mins

1. When Neil counts and strums 1&,2&,3&.... at this video location.... is that an example of palm muting?

2. I'm trying to get the same sound that I'm hearing but on the and counts (ups) I hit some open strings.
I can mute the down strokes but the ups seem a problem.

Edit
It's the muting aspect that I want to recreate.
In the video it looks like Neil strikes the third string on the downs counts 1 2 3 4

I'm trying to work out what he's doing on the ands of counts 1 2 3
I hear a muted sound.... he does seem to strike a string / strings but I can't seem to recreate the same sound?

:S

I've attached a sound clip http://www.totallyguitars.com/images/fb ... eatles.zip

Thanks Willem
I haven't done any string bending before so I've got lots of learrning here.
I've got the arpeggio sorted but strumming is always an issue for me.
Neil's just placing all his right fingers across all strings briefly.
I just wondered if there was more to it?

Aaaaaah Dermot, you're too hard on me, I would never hold 'lackability' against you, even if it was true! :) ;)
