Thank you, guys.

daryl, that's the ultimate compliment. I sure wish it were true, but alas, no, the velvet voice belongs only to Jim.

That's a voice from the past.

Thanks Terry! You might know that I lived in Indiana for 12 years. 6 years in Newburgh (your neighbor) & 6 years in Indianpolis. I love your winter holiday weather, love your State and Love the Indianpolis Colts!!!

Merry Christmas...
Bart

Hey, I recall that, Bart. Newburgh is growing up quickly, or is it that Evansville is annexing it? :D From the city limits, I think Newburgh is about a 2 minute drive.

Merry Christmas, brother, and Go Colts!

Terry,
Thanks for the flashback. My Dad used to listen to Jim Reeves albums when I was a kid. Of course I swore I hated it then because I was into Led Zeppelin and AC/DC. Funny how you realize how great it was later in life! Thanks for the great memories! Merry Christmas.

Craig

P.S. Seems to me that the Colts are just "Luck-y" this year!!!

Hi Terry, thanks for the soooothing sound of Jim Reeve's voice in your Xmas wishes ... he's right up there with Led Zep :)

You do have that same kind of voice, I suggest that you milk it for all it's worth.

Hopefully I'm not hijacking your thread, but Hawkshaw Hawkins' voice is also in this range, so I find his work pretty good too.

Merry Xmas !
Pierre

Jim Reeves was a favourite of my mums. :) Another she liked was 'Slim Whitman'. :S :)
