It looks like (maybe) he's playing:

Em(with an A on top): 022455 (where he hammers the 3rd string from the 2nd fret to the 4th fret: 022255 to 022455)
G: 3x0033
D(with an E on top): xx0230
C(with a D on the 2nd string): x3x033 (or maybe it's x32033)
fun,fun..fun,, this is my last offer,,

I think he starts of with a hammer on the 5th string from A to B(he makes on the same time the barre finger) then he follows with a hammer on from A to B third string put his pinky on the E second string and strums/pick it down---then he goes to a G chord wit a added D second string..

Edit;; second thought on the beginning and later on in the song,, he hammers from A to B 5 string and lay down his Barre finger and pinky on the E second string and strums down on the 4 top strings and hammers his A to B 3 string,, I would call the chord a Bsus4,,(lets see if he makes a B furter on the neck,,I did see a A...

something like this.....

EDIT: CHORDS furter on the neck ......

Always in for a challenge Willem, good of you! :) ;)

But no, no hammeron on the 5th string and no B-chord involved either.

'Some sort of E', you were close there!

Read Daryl's comment again. (I don't think the topstring is involved in that first chord though)

Edit: Oh and because the sixt string isn't fretted doesn't mean it isn't involved, hit that one as well Willem and hear how it sounds! :)

Okay,,,then I go for an Esus4,, in my knowledge an A added to an E chord makes a Esus4..?????

Edit,,well after the hammeron its Echord..(without the top string) 02245X

An E-chord, so is it major or minor Willem?

When you add an A to an E-chord, it would be an Eadd11, when you replace a third for a fourth, thén it's an Esus4.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, you're on the right track! :)

mY head hurts already.. its a E5 after the hammeron third string..

Willem

Edit: or a Bsus4/E...but you said no Bchord involved.

Very well Willem, no third in there (after the hammeron, well there isn't a third before the hammeron as well ;) ), so neither major or minor, and yeah, I'd call it an E5 as well ;) . Still in this chordprogression it would function as an Em though, later he does play an Em. (instrumental bridge).

No B-chord involved.

No more guesses folks??

Well Daryl figured most of it out already! ;)

Esus4 to E5 = 02225X tot 02245X
G5 = 3X0033
Csus2 = X3X033
Dsus2 = XX0230

In the chorus, a slide from the 5th to the 7th fret, X57(000) (I think) to 079(0)00.

Still a little left there, instrumental bridge or whatever you call it, anyone? :)

I had a look at this but didn't get too far.

I've enjoyed following other posts though, but that's a bit of a cheat !
