Hey Chris

BRAVO old friend. Guitar sounds great.( love that rose wood ).
I think the pick work was very good. I still have a hard time strumming with a pick. Like you said ( I get very heavy handed )sounds like you got a real good start. I sure do look forward to hearing your song you are working on. My be you could do, cold on my shoulder also?? Always will be a big fan of you singing. Sure hope life is being good to you. The very best to you and Miss Ale.

Thanks for posting
Kevin

Thanks Kev.

Thanks for tuning in Bill and Jeff! I'm happy you liked it. I hope to get more done in the future and will record with better sound quality before I let the YT uploader mangle it! At least it will be a little better that way! :-)

Loved that video. A couple of questions:

What does 432 hz tuning mean?

No cutaway? I also prefer the non-cutaways, but I thought I was out in left field with that sentiment.

Great video.

Hey Jay, great that you came by! Thanks for tuning in!

Yeah no cut-away no electrics, instead, full-bodied, unadulterated beautiful dreadnought sound!
I love a big Dread over any other shape. We can start a club!

A432 tuning is using 432Hz as the reference tone for the A over middle C. We usually uase 440Hz these days. But before 1953 the reference tone was 432. Many people think this is a better, more wholesome sound. Check out this thread:

HI Chris, I am a bit late but I enjoyed your video. I am glad you decided to get the guitar that you like so much. It is beautiful and the sound is rich and sustained. You two make a great pair.

Marc
