Well, it happened. I actually now own an E-Guitar a lovely Godin Session, not new but in perfect condition and playing very nicely indeed. A present from my family for my big Six oh! coming up on 4th of January. Its a Canadian made guitar, great to start off on playing riffs and solos and I am in Canada at the moment... should be fun!

Thanks Craig! And Corina tells me that Godin means Godess in Dutch... so, as winter is finally arriving here with a snow storm and 35 cm of snow, I shall sit by a warm fire with a Godess in my arms palying cool riffs ( as cool as I can get 'em!).

She is a beauty! What a great gift! Do you have an amp nearby?

Hi Jason, Mark, Willem and Daryl. I am already pleasantly surprised at how much easier it is to play an E-guitar after a 12 string and a steel six string. Yes, there is a small amp nearby Daryl as my nephew used to be in a band and I found the amp in the back of a bedroom closet! :-) No distortion pedals around so I need to look into that... and a looper.. and and and... and I seriously need to work on my electric faces and style Willem, but that may end up a little lame...

Nice Guitar...... so are you absconding to TEG Chris ?

Remember too close to the fire might not be good for the new guitar !
But then again it may take your playing to melt it !
