Hey Willem,

I agree that Beatles songs are always good. I've been thinking about revisiting "Blackbird."

Jay,

Thanks for the suggestion as well. If it's on the site, I'll take a look at it.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. Some of these I hadn't thought of and a couple of them I don't know. Little by little I want to go through all of them and decide which ones offer which essential techniques. I'm off in new directions this year. :)

o

I just watched the lesson and I like all the different parts. I've never been a huge Niel Young fan, but I could warm up to this one. :)

I would agree. However, I was thinking since most of us are not working one on one with a teacher, that it would be helpful to have a list of songs that address specific, essential skills. Also, since the site is being updated, maybe it would be possible to have some type of indication that certain songs, aside from levels, are essential for particular skills.

Hi there Peeps

I have dug out the list that was published in the early days
It is on the forum somewhere but too hard to find,
So I'll type it out for you

Ripple
Suzie Q
Who'll stop the rain

Level 4

Babe I'm Gonna Leave you
Blackbird
Brain Damage
Comfortably numb
Down by the River
Dust in the wind
I'd like to change the world
Is there anybody out there
Landslide
Proud Mary
The Needle and the damage done
Waiting on a friend
Wish you were here
You've got to hide your love away

Level 5

So something like I was looking for does exist! Now I just need to start with the first and work my way through. Thanks!
