Here's the guitar I played tonight. When you're plugging an acoustic into the house PA in a semi-noisy venue the body resonance is lost unless you have an über expensive acoustic with actual sound mic type pickups. For the rest of us, this type of guitar covers all the necessary bases:

I was approached by several people after my set by people commenting on how good the guitar tone was and asking questions about it. I call the experiment of adding it to my stable a full success.

Not only didn't I get someone to film me last night, the lady who usually takes photos of the performances was distracted and didn't get any of my set. Oops. :blush:

Anyway, here's a quick "Photo Booth" shot of getting in some practice time on the Yamaha in the studio.
