On The Beat - Episode 780 - Weekly Guitar Video News Wrap Up November 1, 2024
We put out a couple interesting lessons this week, a slightly obscure Eagles' tune and another big hit from David Gates and Bread. The Bread tune is Make It With You, featuring a lot of chords with open strings droning, which led to my short discussion of chords in the key of E and some similar songs. The Eagles' song is My Man, a Bernie Leadon tune dedicated to Gram Parsons from their album On The Border.
I gave a short wrap up on our TG Revue in Los Gatos last week, with video coming soon, and played bits of a couple Christmas tunes, wanting to remind folks to not wait much longer before dusting them off, or starting some new ones for this year.
