Neil are you playing the first few notes of:"All I want for Christmas is a Beatle, not a Teddy bear just a Beatle". There was song out in the 60's in England with that melody and those words... and another version out as " All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth". Can't be, right?
Ok, looked it up. The first version was " All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" by Don Gardner in the States in 1946. The copy was the "Beatles version" by Dora Bryan in the 60's. Did I hear that right?
