The Guitar Chronicles is the fulfillment of dream to create a comic book on acoustic guitar stories and other musical adventures..

As a lover of comic books from the beginning of time, I thought it only natural for us to have our own...

This first episode is a nod to my friend and partner Neil whose story to be the very best Guitar teacher he could is one that I honor every day ...

Here we immortalize his story in comic form ...

Neil has no idea this was created...not the comic, nor this episode..

I think he may be in for quite a surprise maybe..

The mice have been beavering away in the basement quietly on this one..

The art is created by one of the TG family Matt Grigsby, and if that name is unfamiliar to you, perhaps the words "junior Bear" may help ...

Yes Matt Grigsby is Rick's son, and he is quite a talent...

He translates my story boards and idea into what you see here visually , and he has done just a great job...

So I hope you enjoy this brand new component to Totally Guitars..

Future episodes can and will be taking us everywhere and anywhere....it is a Comic after all....No rules, a parallel universe ...

Cheers

Matt

Great stuff ... did I miss the episode where his home planet explodes? Or will that eventually be shown as a flashback?

OK if TG follows today's trend and makes a movie of comic book heroes with live actors....

Who would you get to play Neil?

Who would you get to play MattW?

Play serious fellas...

PS Some seriously great artwork from Baby Bear...

For Neil = Tom Selek (Experience with mustache and Hawaiian shirts)

For Matt = Hugh Jackman (He's from Australia, can do the accent)

Tom Selleck is a good choice, but I was thinking Paul Hogan (No relation / Mick Dundee) for Matt.

Oh! Don't forget the flashback where his Mom is scared by a Tom Petty look-alike while she is pregnant with Neil.
