Cori-

I meant to congratulate you for your guess on PsychRockWeek, at least the first one, before you modified it. You had 2, as you now know. Today's song was also hit by a member. I think next week's guessing game will be a little easier, or harder, depending on the clue(s) I settle on.

Thanks a lot Neil, I really enjoy the little guessing games!! It is a good time. I think am getting a little better...or maybe just a little luckier. (Gonna be "T.G. Nostradamus" one day lol!) Still curious about the rest for this week. Looking forward to those as well. Thanks again.

Last song coming up tomorrow- nobody has even been close. Huge hit in 1967, Southern California band, later ties to rock tragedy.

Shot in the dark here...Captain Beefheart? (Just Kidding.)

Seriously now, how about: Moby Grape-Omaha

That could be a1/2 dozen or more bands but I'm guessing; Big Brother and The Holding Company - Ball and Chain - The Monterey Pop Festival 1967.

Jim, you're probably right. Big Brother is a real good guess. I am going way too obscure on this...I think.

Okay my final, answer. I think it was one hit wonder band: Strawberry Alarm Clock, with "Incense & Peppermints"

Ed King, of later Lynyrd Skynyrd fame, being the tie in with the future rock tragedy.
