In this episode of Luthier's Corner

Keith Holland of the Guitar Hospital in Los Gatos California talks about intonation issues.

The Buzz Feiten Tuning System solves tuning and intonation problems by slightly extending the nut over the fingerboard.

Hope you enjoy this

Cheers

Matt

Hello, sometimes my guitar buzzes, but when i take it in the guitar tech says it is fine, and when i get it home it still buzzes, usually the 7 or 9th fret last two low strings E and A. The guitar i'm talking about is my 2008 fender american strat, my EC Blackie does it only once in a while but only really notice it when i am unplugged. Mostly when i play the blackie EC strat, i just lower the DBX knob and cut out some of the middle and reverb. On my american strat i think i need to raise the saddle on the lowr strings, or maybe just find a better guitar tech in my area...
