Hi Everyone,

Today's Acoustic Snapshots is now live with Neil.

It was a beautiful day and I had just finished shooting our weekly news video where I had mentioned that sometimes I forget to play the guitar for fun… sometimes for months at a time. The day before I had stumbled into an interesting set of melodies revolving around D minor. I took a few minutes to noodle around with them some more.

Hope you enjoy!

I love these!! This one has a Spanish vibe for sure. Sounds like it outta be in a film score in a modern Western. Very, very Cool!

Great suggestion Willem, we all have to remember to play for fun sometimes. As far as the term 'Abstract", I just started using it for something where I was improvising, with no real plan of where the music was going. Now that video is my life, I will occasionally record these sessions and pass them on.

Neil,

What a joy it is to just sit back and listen and watch you play.

The descending bass notes were very pleasing. Nice Stretch from the 5th fret 1st string to the 1st fret 5th string. Ouch.

Neil, we don't get to see you noodle enough. Its really nice to see where we want to be, and see the guy that we are learning from, show us something that he is just now learning.

We want more please, every chance you get.

I always find amazing when someone pick up a guitar and start playing as "I know where I am, let's see where I am going today".
This is playing using our head, our ear and through our heart (kind of Mozart quotation :) ).
Thank you for this bonus, Neil
Amazing,
Abilio

I think it's perfect just as filmed. Birds in the background and all. Just title it and you've a new hit on your hands.
