This week we added a little more Double Dropped D to the Target Program with Stephen Stills’ Find The Cost Of Freedom. This song has been a very popular request since day one at TG and still frequently performed by CSNY in any of their configurations. The rest of this week was firmly entrenched in the 60s as we looked at early Grateful Dead with China Cat Sunflower and early Bob Dylan with Mr. Tambourine Man.

Our Fly On The Wall series continued with tips on singing while playing, particularly with respect to Beginnings by Chicago, and a look at Brain Damage, a somewhat beginning fingerpicking piece that Kevin was working on.

I have really enjoyed following the tour of the TG Banner and am happy to say it has made its way down under, to our members in Australia and New Zealand (I presume…). There are some great videos in the extensive forum thread as many members have created mini signing ceremonies and played a song or two. Be sure to take a look when you can. I believe the thread has stretched to almost 30 pages of messages.

That was the week, and the month of May.

Stay Tuned& In Touch,

Neil

Thanks Neil. You've put a big smile on my face. I've loved watching the banner travel around the world and people's signing videos too. I didn't expect it to reach our shores so soon, but it's been fun receiving it. Good thing you're not holding your breath until it reaches you. There area lot of names on the original list and more likely to be added down the track. But, it will be quite a thing to behold when you finally get it on the wall of your cabinet. :)
