The News today is coming to you from beautiful Boulder, Colorado. It
is not quite as clear as usual because much of the state is on fire,
caused by lightning strikes that interrupted our softball schedule as
well. In any case, life at TG went on as usual.

Our new additions for Target members included Bob Dylan’s Hurricane,
Mumford & Sons’ Ghosts That We Knew, and the second installment of
Mood For A Day by Steve Howe.

We also had a Fly On The Wall Lesson with Kevin working on his ear-
training as we worked through the progression to Not In Nottingham, by
Roger Miller as done in the Walt Disney movie Robin Hood.

Our long time member Anton put up a video for review with him playing
Stand By Me. Between his great rendition and a few comments from me on
common chord progressions, you should have no problem learning the
song. It really seems that many of the Reviews and FOTW videos turn
into complete lessons on various topics. I hope everyone is taking a
look at most of them.

Until next week- Stay Tuned & In Touch,

Neil

I'm pretty sure this man could set a coffee can outside his hotel room, sit on a bench and play that guitar, and he'd more than finance his softball (dad) trips. :)

I thought "I wonder if they are the Rocky Mountains in the background"? I was chuffed that they were!

Bill, I try. I really do try to busk the Man, but I always come up short. But hey, I ain't a quitter. And because of him, I'm making some major progress.
