Hi Everyone,

The Weekly Wrap Up is ready!

Enjoy!

A little bit of Blues this week, Yesterday's Blues jumped out as an
opening theme. We had a bit more in a Fly On The Wall lesson and
another going through Midnight Rider. There was a look at a Student
Review on Embryonic Journey, and Target Lessons on Leader Of Men by
Nickelback and Bus Stop by The Hollies.

Jack van Breen from Guitar Showcase demonstrated a great recording and
mixing system from PreSonus, the StudioLive. Everybody needs one of
these!!

I also had a chance to respond to a question from our Forum about
learning to do pull-offs and hammer-ons while striking a bass note. It
is hard not to pinch the two together but there are a couple of ways
to isolate the move and get it under control. Although I used Leo
Kottke's The Fisherman as an example of a song not to start this with.

On a random note, Bus Stop kind of evolved into a solo arrangement
accidentally and I will think about getting to a lesson on that
somewhere down the line if there is enough interest.

Stay Tune & In Touch,

Neil

I love watching how Neil can flit between styles, the ragtime stuff is always impressive, would be great to have some more old standards in the lesson list.

Great question Willem, thanks for the explanation Neil.

I just loved Bus Stop.
Everything you do is just amazing Neil!

That's a lot of free lessons.
