This week we brought out two new artist 10-packs, one with songs by
Bob Dylan and Volume 2 of Neil Young songs, a collection of some of
his Buffalo Springfield era songs. We had Student Reviews that
included House Of The Rising Sun and some Dropped D improvisations
from Vanessa, a Fly On The Wall with Ed going over A Hard Rains A-
Gonna Fall, a look at Elvis Presley Limited Edition Models, and Jack
van Breen’s demonstration of the PreSonus StudioOne recording set up.
We also had a couple of new releases in the Target Program. The first
was Johnny Cash’s version of Hurt, by Nine Inch Nails, and the second
was The Doors People Are Strange. There may be more Doors in the near
future as that was a lot of fun to put together.
Speaking of Student Reviews, there seems to be a shortage of new ones
being uploaded so if you have been thinking about getting something up
this is a good time. next week will probably include reviews of songs
put up in the last couple of days as it is.
As today’s News wound down I found myself running through a piece I
don’t think I have ever played for the TG community. It’s called One
Step Beyond and was one of the first pieces I wrote with more
percussive effects, as well as some unusual intervals and harmonies. I
hope you enjoy it.
Stay Tuned & In Touch,
Neil

Neil,
I would love to watch you perform a concert sometime! Either a huge concert or a small coffee house somewhere, it wouldn't matter to me. I absolutely love to watch and listen to you play.
Thanks for the inspiration...

Thanks for another great week.
I can't keep up with all these great lessons.
Hurt and People are strange are gems.
I am forever motivated every week.

I'm with you Willem, I'm so far behind, I'll never catch up. But and its a BIG BUT, I think I heard a hybrid Hendrix song in there just before "one step behind". That one I could do, if I only had a lesson :laugh:Alway's looking forward to this,,thx for performing your tune ''one step behind'' for me it looked like 100 steps behind,,but it was really fun listen to you..
