Hi Everyone,
We have a new addition to The Listening Post featuring Little Feat.
Little Feat came out of Los Angeles in the early '70s and established a unique identity by merging New Orleans funk with country, jazz, and urban rock, resulting in a string of classic songs and albums that maintain a timeless quality and still sound contemporary today.
At the forefront of their musical identity was their visionary leader Lowell George, whose groundbreaking style of playing slide guitar combined Southern country blues technique with R&B and urban rock sensibilities to influence a generation of musicians including Bonnie Raitt, Ben Harper, and blues guitarist Roy Rogers.
