Hi Everyone,

The Weekly Wrap Up is ready!

Enjoy!

Today's News started with a bit of sight reading through Mauro
Giuiiani's 120 Right Hand Studies, only a couple, before heading into
the summary of this week's new lessons/content. The Target songs
involved two great female vocalists, Annie Haslam of Renaissance with
our lesson on Kalynda, and Eva Cassidy's nice guitar arrangement of
Woodstock, by Joni Mitchell. Every once in a while a song on the
Recommend A Lesson list jumps out at me and I decide to get to it even
thought there are only a few votes. I think this started with Clifton
In The Rain a while back. I see a few other recent requests that are
grabbing me the same way...

Additional lessons were Student Reviews of The Fisherman and Sweet
Home Alabama, as well as a Fly On The Wall video with Kevin going over
Cowboys And Angels by Dustin Lynch.

After the recap I wandered off into some Forum questions about mode
changes, tab and standard notation pros and cons, and a few thoughts
on muting electric strings. These were peppered with bits and pieces
of lots of songs, too numerous to remember without watching it myself,
something I never do. I certainly appreciate the fact that many folks
do watch and enjoy the News and really like the feedback as well.

Till next week-

Stay Tuned & In Touch,

Neil

Neil,

Thanks so much for the great advice on muting electric strings, that's exactly what I was after.

I really enjoyed the theory segments too.

I also really need to check out those new songs.

The news just gets better and better and I love that you summarise the responses to forum questions in the text of the news post.

Thanks again.

Michele

Thanks for explaining about the importance of muting when playing electric guitar, mode stuff and voices.
