Hi Everyone,

The Weekly Wrap Up is ready!

Enjoy!

http://www.totallyguitars.com/blog/guit ... 31st-2013/

Obviously the big news this week is the addition of Vanessa as a teacher and IGC staff member.
I started off playing a couple tunes in Am (Cm really) that some of you might recognize, if you
are old enough. Then got into talking about Vanessa a bit before I went into the new Target
releases for the week.

These included a review on A Whiter Shade Of Pale, Vanessa's lesson on
Someone Like You by Adele, our collaboration on Al Stewart's On The Border, the early Rolling
Stones' tune The Last Time, and our latest entry in the Guide To Reading Music, Lesson 4, which
consisted of a few more sight-reading exercises.

Aside from that I went into the Banner's final journey (?), and some comments on cool things
happening on the Forum.

Till next week-

Stay Tuned & In Touch,

Neil

I had the James Taylor tune " you can close your eyes'' pretty down till I got distracked in other tunes and when I went back to it today it was all gone and must start all over,,man man grey cells or to much on my list..but I'm back on it,,and counting on some measers,,

Looking forward to your top 10 list...Mmmm some pretty one there.

Have A great weekend,,

What was the name of the song Neil played mid-way through the weekly update? I've defiinitely heard it but can't place it.

Not 100% certain, but I think John Renbourn's Lady goes to Church.

to clarify, the tume midway through the update was "White Bird" also by It's a Beautiful Day. The song Neil played after the opening "noodling" was "Girl with No Eyes"
Both on the same album recorded in the late sixties.

Thanks for the info on the E/A chord Neil, the Hayward song title is When You Wake Up... although I've had the song in my head for nearly 40 years, I had to look the title up when I made the thread, not an obvious title at all....
