This week – snippets of lots of songs, Christmas, Monkees, Surf, Steve Howe, maybe even Beatles as I recall.
Basically the same unstructured format I hope everybody is warming up to. Speaking of warming up, it is freezing
here in Northern California. I just want everybody to know it’s not always beautiful here, occasionally we have
glimpses of the real world.

I think I mentioned most of the new material for the week. We broke out a couple Monkees’ songs, Pleasant Valley Sunday
and Daydream Believer, Leonard Cohen’s One Of Us Cannot Be Wrong, and Vanessa’s great look at Broken by Jake Bugg.
We also had another voyeuristic view of MattF and me having way too much fun, as usual, as he continued working on
Lake Of Fire.

Other stuff I vaguely remember touching on include Forum subjects like complex structures, Sandy’s additions to the
Thought For The Day, and Jim hanging out in Maui, a place we should all visit sometime. I also brought up a cool online
math game, KenKen. Just what I need, another distraction!

Back next week for more,

Neil

Neil, if you can't find long pants, I'm sure you could duct tape several of those Hawaiian shirts around your legs.

Have a great weekend.

Neil, the Daydream Believer Instrumental sounds wonderful, that'd go straight to the top of the list (50 odd long and counting daily btw). Any song you do that makes me smile from ear to ear is an instant hit in my book.
