Hi Gang,

The next entry in our evening at Anne's house on September 26 is Leonard Cohen's Suzanne. This was heard in Holland after Herman van Veen wrote and recorded a Dutch translation of it. Here is Corina singing it in her native language.

I have to say, very well written songs, lyrics I mean, in my mother language does touch a deep spot in my heart. Herman van Veen is fantastic....so yeah, I absolutely LOVE quite a few dutch songs! :)

What's your favorite Willem?

Mine are : Onderweg/Abel, Laat Me Nu Toch Niet Alleen/Clouseau, quite a few from Acda & De Munnik (I'll be seeing them in concert in December, yeeeeeeeeh!!) and I'm sure I'm forgetting a whole bunch.

But if i needed to pick one, 'Onderweg' it is! :)

For learning the guitar part and the singing it would be 1. Laat me 2. Zij maakt het verschil 3.geef mij je angst 4. De Dijk, don't know which one,, maybe, bloedend hart ( not sure but).
