Hi Gang,
The next entry in our evening at Anne's house on September 26 is Leonard Cohen's Suzanne. This was heard in Holland after Herman van Veen wrote and recorded a Dutch translation of it. Here is Corina singing it in her native language.

I have to say, very well written songs, lyrics I mean, in my mother language does touch a deep spot in my heart. Herman van Veen is fantastic....so yeah, I absolutely LOVE quite a few dutch songs!
What's your favorite Willem?
Mine are : Onderweg/Abel, Laat Me Nu Toch Niet Alleen/Clouseau, quite a few from Acda & De Munnik (I'll be seeing them in concert in December, yeeeeeeeeh!!) and I'm sure I'm forgetting a whole bunch.
But if i needed to pick one, 'Onderweg' it is!
