lessons on how to improvise a solo

Neil I'm glad you said mess a round with the vocal melody 'cos its often what I heard in lets say the instrumental breaks in a song, what I often tryed is putting the lyrics on it while someone was soloing. B) :laugh:

each video is about 30 minutes. As I recall, Neil get's into "the meaty stuff" for this topic at about 20 minutes in on the first video which continues into the first 15 minutes or so of the second.

This is a great string. It was good to see Ron!
This is an awesome subject and right where my mind has been trying to go. If Neil could put this into a lesson where the chord shapes and scale shapes are somehow tied together, I would be in heaven.
