Hi Gang,

A couple months ago our video guy, Larry Baron had to produce a documentary for a class he was taking at De Anza College in Cupertino, CA. He asked me about putting together a little history of TG, and how Matt and I came together to get the ball rolling. I figured it was time to share it here.

The story of TG remains a great story! And I'm proud to be a part of it now, of the TG staff, family and community. It has changed my musical life, brought me to places and steered me into directions that I never thought of and that I absolutely love.

Wow, Neil! Fabulous! I knew bits and pieces of this, but never the whole story. What a long, wonderful trip it's been! I'll be hanging around for more.

Great to watch! I also found TG by the way of you tube a few 3 or 4 years ago and that was the end of my "jam play" subscription. About 4 years being one of the TG family and proud to be part of it! I need to search for any other "behind the scene videos" that might be out there. Thanks for posting this!! Dave

YEAH, what Vanessa said. All of the above.
The first TG video I ever saw, was one of Neil asking, "are you tired of only being able to play just parts of songs?" I said "YEUP", and I signed up. I'm so glad I did.

Its a true story and you can only believe it when you are a part of it from the beginning or after that, you really learn here more in one hour then searching the net in one year, it are really the greatest lessons on the net, also the forum is great.

Met here a lot of supporting people too.

Still be a part of it every week and can't stop..

Great video. I have a followup question.

Why did Matt choose to walk into Neil's guitar studio? Why that particular studio? Was it just luck that Matt chose a guitar teacher who had the teaching skills, breadth of knowledge, and mastery of the subject to pull off a Totally Guitars type of thing?
