Hi Walt, I just put a set of Elixir Light on my BSG and they sound and feel great! I also am using skin when I finger pick.
0.012 - 0.53" Not sure if there is another name for them.
Usually I have D'Addario EXP16 Lights on, same gauge. Also pretty bright.

Like Chris, I also use the Elixir lights on my Taylor K24. Not only do they sound great, they seem to last a little longer.

Its personal, I come always back with the elixer 0,12, nano web phosphor bronze,, smooth as ice.
you play only at home? .
