Hi everyone,

The Weekly Wrap Up is ready.

Have a nice weekend!

For the last couple days I have been haunted by a melody that I took a stab at in the
beginning of the News. I’m not sure it is close enough to even sound familiar but
anybody who might recognize it and sends me a pm with the correct answer might
(might!) win a CD of mine of their choice.

Speaking of winning cool stuff, last week we had a little contest and gave away DVD
sets
to some of the TG Community. And speaking of other retro stuff, we are planning
on a little webcast tomorrow at 1:00 coinciding with the release of a new DVD I put
together on Campfire Guitar, Ten 4-Chord Songs In G. If we get it together I will be
open to questions about anything so join us if you can. Details soon.

The new lessons this week included Warren Zevon’s Werewolves Of London, I’m Happy
Just To Dance With You
by The Beatles, and a FOTW with Ed working on The Wind. I
spent a little time in this clip going over different approaches to Asus4, like Ed and I
did in his lesson.

I also had to comment on the Album Art thread, and showing a little more (maybe too
much) of the mother of all album covers that Lynn brought to our attention recently.
There is even a nod to one of my albums whose cover was inspired by it. That also led
into an impromptu rendition of one of the tunes from that CD, 1992 or so I think.

Basta, basta, basta…
