Hello Everyone,

It's new years eve and here is the last wrap up for 2016!

http://blog.totallyguitars.com/guitar-n ... 31st-2016/

As we wrap up an amazing 2016 we would like to take a moment to thank everyone that has joined, stayed and journey’ed with us throughout 2016.

We had quite a few amazing things happen throughout the year.

The release of our first ever DVD Web Store. A brand new home page release. A number of new artist songs made their way into our ever growing lesson library, including Alice in Chains, Coldplay, Dave Nachmanoff, Pink, George Michael, The Association, The Beach Boys, Blood, Sweat & Tears, just to name a few.

Another amazing and successful International Guitar Camp, which we will definitely be doing again in 2017, so check it out.

And of course plenty of brand new lessons to help fellow guitarists learn, play and have a wonderful time.

Thanks to this amazing, ever growing community of guitarists! See you in 2017!

Neil

What is the name of the Rev. Gary Davis song you play starting at 10:40? Really enjoyable.

Isn't there an app that will tell you the name of a song if you sing a few notes? If not, there should be!

There are a few, and I've tried to use them several times after watching these videos and wondering what was being played. But they're iffy at best on this kind of thing.\. They're really good with actual recordings, or perfect renditions on piano (say), but not so great with bad singing or mystery solo-acoustic pieces sent through a headphone speaker pressed up to the smartphone's mic. The most famous one is called Shazam.

What a fantastic intro to the first news of 2017.
I loved your playing in the news in this news.
Can you name the tunes throughout this news.?
I'd love to have the opportunity to learn them.
Please consider as possible lessons.

Thanks Again

I think I started with Keep Your Lamps Trimmed And Burning, which may have morphed into Death Don't Have No Mercy. Most everything else was probably improvised.

Happy New Year to you Neil, and the entire TG team! Her's hoping next year is even better.

I've wondered for a long time, whether it would be possible to add a real search engine to the TG site. Type in capo or C A G E, or "Open E Tuning"

Maybe there is a way already, but the site is really big, and I only use a fraction of it.

That would be my suggestion for the new year.

Scott
