What do you do with your Roland piano? If you play piano get your self a Hammond patch and play "A White Shade of Pale" (please).
Daryl,
I play mostly Scott Joplin pieces on the piano. My Roland has many different instruments included with it. I'm sure I have an organ that would sound like a Hammond. I never tried singing and playing the piano, except for a few things like "Let It Be" and "Desperado" But maybe I'll try "Whiter Shade Of Pale" Interesting suggestion.

A Whiter Shade of Pale would be great. If you do that, maybe I'll play bass and maybe Spinny could do a drum track? Mark??? Maybe Corina could do the vocals????? Just some food for thoughts.

Such a great song. Here's a nice cover:

What a great cover.

I can SO see Corina doing an incredible job on this.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys do. Awesome idea.

I'm up for it, but I'll have to find the sheet music. Let's do it!

We of course have to wait to see if Mark and Corina are up for it. But in the meantime, why don't you choose a guide track that we all can work from (after you find sheet music or whatever you need for the keys).

That's great Daryl. A Melatron is exactly what I want to mess around with!

OK. I think I have the right sheet music, but it will take me some time to learn the organ part. My piano playing is a bit rusty at the moment. I will start working on it and let you all know when I have something to work with.

Mark & Bill can we agree to use this as the guide track?

Cool! Would it be possible to share an e-copy of the music? It'd be fun to start noodling around with some percussion ideas in the short term.
