Well I'm sure glad to see you. Was thinking I'd send you a message tonight, to check your progress, and "Voila" there you are.

Glad your getting your life back, and keep up the hard work.

Looking good Neil, great to see (and hear) you back! Great news on your rehab progress too! The site runs just fine but is certainly not the same without you. Nice padded shirt BTW

Hi Neil,

I've been away for a few weeks and never knew about your knee surgeries.

I had both my knee joints replaced at the end of 2013, aged 61, and haven't looked back. They allowed me to keep working.

I am a physiotherapist btw, please keep up all your rehab exercises and understand that you will continue to improve up to about a year after the surgeries.

Mate, I am really happy to talk you through anything you don't understand.

Best wishes

Richard (ntbandit)

Looking good Neil! Glad to see and hear you are happy with the results so far. Keep up the rehab and get that 1st knee strong enough to support the second replacement coming up, you'll be running 100 yard sprints in no time....

Thanks for the update, Neil!

A few years back I was a candidate for knee surgery on the left side, but my doctor and I decided to give PT a try first. After 8 months of three sessions a week the knee sorted itself out and, since then, I've only had occasional twinges. At some point I may well have to bite the proverbial bullet but, until then, I'm gonna ride this horse until it bucks me off. :side:

Keep on truckin'!

Neil,
Great to see you up and around and really getting into your playing.
I really enjoyed all the pieces you ran through on this video.

good to see your re-hab is going OK Neil, and really good to hear from you. All though I'm a big lurker on this site it does mean a lot to me , and has taught me all I know about music and the guitar. Many thanks. Pentangle ?
