November 27, 2020

Gordon Lightfoot, John Fahey and Al Stewart popped into my head at the start of today’s clip. Tunes referenced included Walls, Sligo River Blues and Year Of The Cat. But the focus was more along the lines of getting to work on some Holiday Tunes, and I mentioned that I am working on reorganizing how they are categorized on the site. Hopefully they will be easy to find soon.

This week’s new lessons included-

Doug Young’s Away In A Manger
Bob McAlpine’s Under The Bridge
Breathless by The Corrs
And a Student Review of Classical Gas

Next week will bring more Christmas instrumentals-
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas in DADGAD
Vince Guaraldi’s Christmas Time Is Here
Jingle Bell Rock
And If You’re Not The One by Daniel Bedingfield.

Happy Post Thanksgiving…

Neil

Yes sir,

Santa Clara County just moved into a 3 week shutdown, and looking at college and pro football news today, they are hanging by a thread. So back to 'shelter in place' mode, at least in practice. All Zoom lessons here but more time to play...???
