December 10, 2021

Today I started with a bit of Art Of Dying and played a bit of Penny Lane along the way.
I am still pretty wrapped up in the Beatles Get Back documentary and having a lot of fun looking at lessons on songs I have known since 1970, but never really thought about playing. This week the attention went to George Harrison again. The new lessons were taken from All Things Must Pass, and they may be the last for the time being. Check out Ballad Of Sir Frankie Crisp and Art Of Dying when you can.
I talked a bit about our KOA plan, particularly because we are having a Pathways Webinar for those members tomorrow (probably ‘today’ or ‘a while ago’ by the time you see this).

That chord in the mystery tune (which I don't recognize) sounds similar to this:

Hey Walt,

You are right about it being similar. Pete's tune starts with B in the bass, then drops to A. Other than that, the voicing is the same. He probably plays the B with his thumb wrapped over the 6th string and the A open.

Good ears!

Neil
