Our latest lesson was Singin' Call by Stephen Stills, and since I still had my guitar in the D5 Tuning (DADDAD) today's Update opened with some improvising and pieces of other Stills' tunes that use it. There were snippets of Carry On, Suite: Judy Blue Eyes, 4 & 20, Love The One You're With and Word Game (which I have not done a lesson on yet. The tuning also inspire me to expound a bit on modes, in particular the four most common and how you just lower one note at a time to get from Ionian (Major) to Mixolydian to Dorian to Aeolian (Minor).

Just a friendly reminder regarding your tab book for the Beatles tunes. Any way to buy? My wife plays almost exclusively fingerstyle and it would make a great Xmas present for her.
