October 10, 2025

This week I spent a bit of time revisiting my Jim Croce albums. He was a big influence on me and I spent countless hours figuring out all his songs as each album was released. I even found myself singing most of them, although certainly not with the great style and delivery he had. This week we are putting our Jim Croce Package on sale at TG.

Other than that, and a little TG housekeeping, the rest of today's Update was spent with a short treatise on strumming. All of this is available in our Strumming Simplified package but a few minutes today was spent going over basic patterns and a few left hand tricks for smoother chord changes.

Next week – back to a little more playing and less talking, maybe.

Hey Anton,

Great to hear from you again! Blackbird and If You Could Read My Mind are songs I encourage every student to work on.

Keep it up-

Neil
